- Interviewer: I know that Robert Plant was a big influence on you.
- Jeff: That's my man! The cool thing about all those Zeppelin songs is that, because of the way Plant sings, if you put them into a different musical setting, they would sound like R & B songs. With Led Zeppelin, everything was out of tune, and Plant sang wrong notes. But he was the one that showed me that there really aren't any wrong notes.

Robert Plant has announced details of three live dates for this summer.
Plant will debut his new band, Sensational Shape Shifters, at:
- Gloucester, Guildhall - May 8
- HMV Forum, London - July 12
- WOMAD, Wiltshire - July 29

Robert Plant, Ben Kweller, Jonathan Wilson and More Featured on New Amy Cook Album
Austin-based singer-songwriter Amy Cook will release her new album, entitled Summer Skin, on August 28 via Roothouse Records/Thirty Tigers. The 12-song release features an all-star list of guests including Robert Plant, Patty Griffin, Ben Kweller and an equally star-studded band consisting of David Garza (guitar), Me’Shell N’Degeocello (bass), Chris Bruce (guitar) and Jonathan Wilson (drums). Plant performs on two tunes, “It’s Gonna Rain” and “Airplane Driver.” Summer Skin comes as the followup to 2010’s Let The Light In.
ROBERT PLANT Confirms London Date With New Band SENSATIONAL SPACE SHIFTERS
According to Gigwise, LED ZEPPELIN legend ROBERT PLANT has confirmed another UK date with his new band the SENSATIONAL SPACE SHIFTERS which is comprised of members of his former backing band STRANGE SENSATION and regular collaborator Justin Adams, which draw inspiration “from the roots music of Mississippi, Appalachia, Gambia, Bristol and the foothills of Wolverhampton.”
With the low-key debut gig already announced in Gloucester, taking place next Wednesday May 8, Plant has confirmed that the new band will be also be playing at London’s Forum on Thursday, July 12.
These shows will be Plant’s first with his new band, ahead of a busy summer festival schedule.
